Christmas Outfit

Gap Sweater / Old Navy Jeans / Jeffrey Campbell Booties

Hey guys! Long time no outfit right? Sorry I've been swamped with applying to grad school. But today I bring you what I wore on Christmas. It's very simple (my usual style) because I wanted to focus on the shoes! I scored these Jeffrey Campbell booties for only $75 (originally over $200) on Urban Outfitters website on cyber Monday and have been obsessed. They're super comfortable and go with everything!

Leather & A Sweater

Forever 21 jacket / Old Navy Sweater / Forever 21 jeans / H&M Boots

So you guys know I tend to keep my outfits on the more casual side, but once in a while I like to dress up a bit. This outfit is more on the dressy side, but still casual as well. You could easily make it more daytime appropriate with some flat shoes as well. This faux leather jacket is one of my favorite pieces right now because it goes with everything.

Checkered Shirt

Old Navy Top / Old Navy Jacket / Forever 21 Jeans / Old Navy Flats

Hey guys! So recently I picked up this top from Old Navy because I had been searching for an (affordable) top like this for a while. Since I wanted to keep this look more casual I opted to keep the shirt tucked out and paired it with some simple black jeans and flats. I added a pop of color with my well-loved army style jacket. Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Neutral Layers

fall layers outfit 1

Old Navy Cardigan, Top, and Jeans / Urban Outfitters Boots

Layers are the best part of fall. After I picked up this patterned top I knew I wanted to layer it. I went with a neutral brown cardigan and I really like how it looks with the black. Because it was chilly, I added my favorite ankle boots to this look.  What's your favorite layering piece this fall?

Feels Like Fall

Old Navy Jacket, Henley, and Boots / Forever 21 Jeans / Urban Outfitters Bag

When I think of fall this outfit is the first thing that pops into my mind. It consists of three of my favorite pieces for fall. An army jacket, henley top, and ankle boots. My favorite part of fall is layering and a lightweight jacket is the perfect piece to do that with. I hope everyone has a great week and is ready for Halloween (a fun post might be up next week about that).

A Day at the Orchard

Old Navy Flannel / Forever 21 Jeans / Old Navy Sneakers
Urban Outfitters Purse / Urban Outfitters Sunglasses

Last weekend I went with my family to an orchard near me to pick some apples and though it'd be fun to do an outfit of the day post from there! Especially since most of the rows were empty they were great for taking pictures. I had a blast and love going to the orchard every year. And of course I had to pick up some apples. They also added a coffee place to the snack area so you know I had to check that out as well.

Saturday Shopping

Old Navy Sweater / Gap Tank / Forever 21 Jeans / H&M Bag
Old Navy Loafers / Gap bracelet

Hey guys! So I'm still trying to figure out when/what I'll be posting because I want this to work with my work schedule. So what I'm thinking for now is doing one or two outfit posts during the weekend and during the week (if I have time) doing a fun post, either music/book related, a tag, or makeup/beauty. Anyway, this outfit I work yesterday while shopping and I really liked how this came together. I wanted to break in my new loafers from Old Navy that I've been dying to wear and it's finally cold enough for me to. Hope everyone had a great weekend!

NYC

Old Navy Tee / Forever 21 Denim Button Up / Forever 21 High Waisted Jeans
Target Oxfords / H&M Bag / Forever 21 Necklace / Claire's Sunglasses

Hey guys! Long time no blog right? I apologize for that but I wanted to take a couple month break to get a breather, and put together some better outfits! Last Friday I took my younger sister to New York for the day so she could meet one of her favorite Youtubers and I took this opportunity to dress comfortably (lots of walking) but still looking out together. This outfit is great for day trips because the shows are comfortable, but not sneakers, and the denim button up can be used for when it gets chilly at night.

Black and White

Old Navy Top, H&M Pants, Vans Sneakers, H&M Purse

Hey guys! On Wednesday I went to the art museum for "pay what you wish" and decided to take some outfit pictures along the way! There's nothing I love more than a simple black and white look and when I saw this top at Old Navy I knew I had to add it to my collection. I was considering adding a pop of color, but I like how this look is very simple. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Statement Jewerly

Gap Tee, JC Penney Pants, Target flats, J.Crew Bracelet

I've never been huge on accessories, but once in a while, I'll come across a piece and love it. That's what happened with this J. Crew bracelet (getting it for $7 probably helped also). This bracelet is unique because of the three different color gems and the color combination is beautiful. Because I wanted this to be the focus of my outfit, I paired it with similar colors to the bracelet (navy and green).

What I'm Currently Listening to...

So I thought it'd be fun every once in a while to talk about some music I'm currently playing. Music has always been a huge part of my life and I love discovering new bands/artists and sharing them with people.

First up is the track "Take Me to Church" by Hozier. I recently discovered this song through a local alternative radio station and I've been hooked ever since. I'm joking, I played it 20 times in a row at work today. They have a Band Of Horses (if you're familiar with their music) type sound and I plan on listening to the rest of their album this week.

Next is a band one of my friends discovered called Catfish and The Bottlemen. She was introduced to them when she studied abroad in London and invited me to go see them with her last week. They give off that very "old school" English rock band vibe which I really dig and were fun to listen to. They were nice enough to give out free EPs after their set and I've been playing it for the past week.

Lastly is a track I've had on repeat by Bastille. For some reason, I can't stop listening to their song "Of the Night". This song became one of my favorites back in March and I'm still obsessed with it (I probably listen to it at least once a day). If you're sick of hearing "Pompeii" every other song on the radio, definitely check out this track.

Let me know if you guys like when I post about music! What types of music posts would you guys be interested in reading?

Spring Things

Old Navy Top, H&M Pants, Target Shoes, Urban Outfitters Bag, J. Crew Sunglasses

Hey guys! So recently I've been really into denim tops and black pants together, so I threw this outfit on yesterday and fell in love. Also these shoes I picked up at Target for $15 on sale and they're beautiful and perfect for spring (I'm a sucker for oxfords).
